Adopt Columbia Street!

Spring has begun.  Let's get out and get reacquainted with the sun!  And, even better, we can do something good for the community while were at it!

In the spirit of Columbia Community Outreach's Service Day, let's give back to the Seattle community together!  Through Seattle's Adopt-a-Street program, we're going to adopt Columbia Street in downtown Seattle.  That means keeping it clean!

We'll meet and start from in front of the Columbia Center at 5th and Columbia.

Litter bags, garbage grabbers, gloves, and safety vests will be provided.

Oh..and there just might be a Columbia themed prize for the person who collects the most...

This will be an ongoing, quarterly service event to provide extra clean-up for Columbia Street on behalf of the Columbia Alumni Association. If we do a good job, the City of Seattle will post an awesome street sign in recognition of our efforts, so let’s get moving!
