Architectural Walking Tour

A walking tour of the top 9 architecture gems that Seattle has to offer, led by Columbia alumna Sheri Olson, past Seattle P.I. architecture critic and Northwest Contributing Editor of Architectural Register magazine.

 

This event may be of particular interest to Columbia Alumni who are new to Seattle and those with an interest in Architecture, Urban Planning and the history of buildings that shaped the city of Seattle.  The tour is an exclusive event for CAA Seattle members at no cost. Total walking distance is 3.5 miles.

 

 The tour will include sites in the Capitol Hill, downtown Seattle and South Lake Union neighborhoods, including:

  • Chapel of St. Ignatius, Seattle University
  • The Bullitt Center
  • Frye Art Museum
  • The Seattle Public Library
  • The Norton Building
  • Rainer Tower
  • Pike & Virginia Building
  • Seattle Sculpture Park
  • Seattle Science Center
  • The Experience Music Project
