Join us for a tour of the world’s greenest office building led by two Columbia alumni, Steve Doub and Margaret Sprug of Miller Hull Partnership, who played key roles in the design and management of the project.
The six-story Bullitt Center satisfies all of its own energy, water and waste needs, with 83% greater energy efficiency and 80% greater water efficiency than a typical Seattle office building.
The Bullitt Center also serves as a living laboratory to elevate environmental awareness and to visibly convey the benefits and interconnectedness of sustainable design.
The Bullitt Center’s revolutionary sustainable design has earned multiple awards and favorable news coverage:
- The New York Times: A Building Not Just Green, but Practically Self-Sustaining
- TIME Magazine: Seattle's Silver Bullitt: A New Office Building
- 2013 World Architecture News: Sustainable Building of the Year
Sign up for the tour and find out how a 50,000 square foot office building can operate completely off-the-grid using solar panels, geothermal walls, a rain cistern and composting toilets!
Space is limited to 20 participants.
